Structured Settlement Lump Sum - The Opportunity

Hearing that there is a structured settlement lump sum option creates confusion in the minds of many annuity payment recipients, for good reason. Structured settlement annuities are designed to award restitution for damages (or sometimes to award large lottery and casino winnings) based on payments over time to keep insurance companies and payees financially viable. A lump sum of cash was never presented as an opportunity during the structuring phase of the agreement. How is it possible to get a structured settlement lump sum, then? This boning is normally made of plastic in the modern bustier. The bustier can definitely be used to emphasize the breasts. Bustiers - Read Full Story

There are also dog movies that look at issues such as dog fighting, dog abuse and the spoiling of dogs. Some are light-hearted comedies, others are tear jerkers. Top 10 Dog Movies (pre 1970 Classics)

The current success of Marley and me at the box office illustrates the power of the dog. From the earliest movies to the present day, a canine companion can improve the rating. The human actors may fail to come up to speed and the plot may sicken, but the dog can save the movie from falling into oblivion.

This includes not only overnight but over time. Rin Tin Tin, for example, not only saved Warner Brothers Studios from bankruptcy, he also salvaged many a mediocre movie. The same can be said for other all time great dog actors, including Strongheart, Lassie and Benji.
Some of the major dog classic movies focus on the dog and his or her relationship to one person, frequently a child. This is particularly true of the first top 2 of this list. Top 10 Dog Movies (pre 1970 Classics) Read Full Story

Coffee Futures Trading

Coffee is the world's most popular non-alcoholic beverage and is considered to be the globe's most important internationally traded commodity. Coffee futures trading is therefore potentially very lucrative. The Commodity Exchange Center in New York (CSCE) is the prime market for trading coffee, cocoa and sugar futures and options. It has been in operation since 1993. The CSCE is not responsible for the set price of coffee trades. Django Reinhardt - Guide to the World's Best Guitarists

Guitar Legend Django Reinhardt

Guitars and gypsies go hand in hand... The original rock'n'roll drifter, he travelled around France with gypsies as a young man, learning to play guitar—as well as banjo—from them. Musicians as diverse as Willie Nelson and Tony Iommi have been influenced by him. But the most amazing thing about Django Reinhardt is that he did it all minus two fingers on the left hand—and it wasn't cause he was playing guitar left-handed, either. Duane Allman - Guide to the World's Best Guitarists

The thing about great musicians from the 60's was they were always dying. Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Brian Jones from the Rolling Stones, Jim Morrison, Keith Moon…and, unfortunately, the guitarist whose nickname was 'Skydog,' also known as Duane Allman.

But before all of that, Allman was a noted session musician who was rapidly becoming famous for his work on slide guitar and on a little album called Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs with none other than Eric Clapton. Duane Allman - Guide to the World's Best Guitarists - Read Full Story

History Of The Mille Miglia

The first Italian Grand Prix took place in 1921 in Brescia. But a new course was built in 1922 at Monza, and for the most part has held the race ever since. When Brescia lost the Grand Prix to Monza, Brescians Aymo Maggi and Franco Mazzi decided to give a bit 'Take that!' to the world of racing and prove that Brescia wouldn't take the loss lying down.

With some wealthy friends and associates, they established the race to end all races, the Mille Miglia, taking racers 1000 Miles along a figure eight course through Italy, going from Brescia to Rome and back. History Of The Mille Miglia - Read Full Story

The Mille Miglia Of Today

For the uninitiated, Mille Miglia is an Italian name which translates to Thousand Miles, and is, as one might guess, a thousand mile endurance race across Italy.

While the first Mille Miglia races ran from 1927 to 1957, today's races really began in 1982, and, in honor of the original races, the drivers always compete in cars from the 1927 to 1957 era.

This is part of a series of hubs on the Mille Miglia. I recently took my Father - a classic car buff all his life (that's him on the right in his 2009 MM cap) to watch the 2009 race, for the trip of a lifetime. Only problem is, we're now bitten by the most beautiful car race in the world, and are already tentatively planning next year's trip! The Mille Miglia Of Today - Read Full Story

Assisted Suicide - A UK Perspective

The Suicide Act 1961 states that :

"The rule of law whereby it is a crime for a person to commit suicide is hereby abrogated."

And so is quite clear in setting out that the act of suicide itself is not a crime. It then goes on to say that:-

“1) A person who aids, abets, counsels or procures the suicide of another, or an attempt by another to commit suicide, shall be liable on conviction on indictment to imprisonment for a term not exceeding fourteen years.

2) If on the trial of an indictment for murder or manslaughter it is proved that the accused aided, abetted, counselled or procured the suicide of the person in question, the jury may find him guilty of that offence"

The offence is known as "complicity in suicide". This situation is unusual in law in that there is no other instance in which an accessory can be committing an offence when the principal is not. Assisted Suicide - A UK Perspective - Read Full Story

The Real Value of Free Giveaways

It seems that everyone is clamouring for your attention on the internet these days. Businesses everywhere are offering free reports, free e-books, free newsletters and free downloads to try and keep you as a customer – or even as a potential customer.

Trust is a huge issue in the internet marketplace, and many webpreneurs have realised that they must begin to build a relationship with as many potential customers as they can before they can hope to sell something to them.

Even the most impressive and professional looking sites can be scams underneath, and even some of the testimonials splashed across home pages the world over – complete with photos – can be little more than hot air.

It’s the job of the webpreneur to break through all the special effects, smoke and mirrors to prove to their potential customers that they are who they say they are, and they can be trusted to supply the goods they are promoting in a timely and professional manner. The Original 1927 Mille Miglia

The history of the Mille Miglia is actually a bit complicated. The original races only ran from 1927 to 1957, the event was then continued as a rally event from '58 to '61, wherein the drivers would stay under the speed limit save for a number of predetermined stretches, but this toned down version of race was discontinued as well. In 1977, the race was revived in the form of, essentially, a parade, as opposed to a fast paced competitive race, and finally, in 1982, the original Mille Miglia was resurrected as a full-tilt endurance race, with cars produced between 1927 and 1957 competing for glory. Banned Music and Explicit Lyrics

Many histories of banned music begin with the 1950s, though there are a few instances of songs being banned from public airwaves in the U.K. and the United States before that time. The BBC reportedly banned a song in the 1930s because it had sexual connotations. A wonderful piece by Bob Stanley at TimesOnline features the story of Spencer Leigh, a radio DJ who produced a CD of banned songs. In this article, Stanley tells the story of the Dance Music Policy Committee in the U.K. that had a censorship focus before the ‘50s. But instances of music censorship didn’t occur with great frequency until after World War II, with improved technology and an explosion of popular music.
